Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing Helitha Guruge for your web development, photography, and videography needs. I value your satisfaction and strive to provide you with the best service experience possible. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with the services provided, I am here to help.
Service Cancellations
I accept service cancellations within 24 hours from the date of booking confirmation for photography and videography services, and within 48 hours for web development projects. To be eligible for a cancellation, the project must not have commenced, and no deliverables must have been provided.
Refunds
Once I receive your cancellation request, I will review the project status and notify you of the refund eligibility. If your refund is approved, I will initiate a refund to your original method of payment. Please note that the refund will be given to the payment initiated media itself. The refund amount will exclude any non-refundable booking fees or deposits as outlined in your service agreement.
Service Modifications
If you would like to modify your service requirements, timeline, or scope, please contact me within 48 hours of booking confirmation. I will work with you to accommodate reasonable changes, though additional fees may apply for scope increases or expedited timelines.
Non-Refundable Services
Certain services are non-refundable once work has commenced. These include:
- Completed milestone deliverables in web development projects
- Photography/videography sessions that have been conducted
- Custom consultation hours that have been utilized
- Travel expenses incurred for on-location services
- Third-party costs (hosting, licenses, etc.) already purchased for your project
Unsatisfactory Service Quality
In the unfortunate event that you are not satisfied with the quality of service provided, please contact me immediately upon delivery. I will work with you to address any concerns through revisions, re-delivery, or alternative solutions. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, a partial refund may be considered based on the work completed and resources utilized.
Force Majeure and Cancellations
If I am unable to provide the agreed services due to circumstances beyond my control (illness, natural disasters, etc.), you will receive a full refund for any payments made, excluding non-recoverable third-party expenses. For photography/videography events, I will attempt to provide a replacement date or alternative arrangement before processing a refund.
Processing Time
Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after the refund request is approved. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider and banking institution.
